Thank youuuuuuu! Yo just saved my life. I’m cooking for an event this week and as last minute request from the client, I got a Hummus. When she asked me if I know how to make it I said YES! (it was a white lie) and now that I found your recipe I’m gonna rock it … better impossible!. Thanks a lot again.

This is really great… I was just wondering.. How long do you think it will last in the refrigerator?

@ljoseph38 I like adding yogurt because it makes the hummus a bit more creamy and it adds a different aspect of lemon flavor to the hummus. If you can’t have yogurt then you can omit it but I would suggest giving it a try :)

OMG, I just tried this recipe, and it is amazing. The only change is instead of adding water, I added buttermilk to give it extra creaminess. It turned out so good. It. Tasted. Authentic.

I like the recipe very much (just halved the tahini, garlic and lemon to meet my tastes). Had a question about the yogurt. I noticed that middle eastern grocery stores do not have yogurt in their hummus recipe. Is that something you added? Just wondering what the yogurt does to the hummus. Thanks for sharing all your great recipes:)

@1OtMama Cuisinart is really the best, but they can be a bit expensive. Try black and deckar, they have good ones and they are about $50.

@zahra14300 It could be the tahini that is making it bitter, either use a different brand or try adding a bit more lemon juice and a few tbs of water :)

    Hi
I noticed you have a decent food processor. I am looking for one. Could you either recommend one or please tell me what brand/type yours is?
    Thanks for the recipes
