Real vid,as it is,a mistake but what the hell picking up off the floor is just what I’d do so as not to waste too much.Great ideas, packing gravy to thicken up a stew ,make a spoon with a coal rather than phaffing about with a crook knife..I have used the end of a big smouldering stick to remove the bowl of a spoon and that worked okay as well..great stuff Dave!!

    hey bro

me and my buds do the same kinda stuff.

the only thing you gotta worry about when it comes to crawdads is if you cook em and they’re tails are already curled they’re no good to eat.

    Good luck buddy

Ive found that the best steak ive ever eaten was on a camp fire, somthen about the smoke of the wood just releases all the flavor from meats. Also that jerky in boiling water would make a good broth on a cold day.

Dave, the more vids you do the better they get. Like what you do. 5/5
ever hear of hoe cakes? People used to use a their hoe head (cleaned I hope) over a small fire to cook in the field. Also have read where a hunting guide in Africa uses a flat spade as a griddle, keeps it on his Rover to dig out or to cook on.
