Dit kookprogramma is anders dan andere. Achter het gerecht zit een persoonlijke geschiedenis. Ik vind het leuk om te zien waar gerechten vandaan komen. Dat zie je in dit programma, erg leuk.

Agreed. My grandmother’s from Iraq, my father’s from Syria, but we all have Armenian roots–these dishes are common throughout all of these places.

    Just got this from Linda:
after a quick check of my weblinks, here’s what i found (however, since we
are just between growing seasons, the companies may not have next year’s seeds ready to order until after the first of the year):
skyfiregardenseeds[dot]com has “lubnani” (which means lebanese)
rareseeds[dot]com has “lebanese white bush marrow”
bountifulgardens[dot]org has “lebanese light green squash, summer, bush”
Linda’s site might have more info:
    lindasawaya[dot]com
    Hope this helps!

I’d love to plant Lebanese squash? Where can I find the seeds in the US? I ususally buy the squash in Middle Eastern stores when I want to make “Kusa Bil Laban” ( squash in yogurt sauce).
