These are actually on par with All Clad. Debatable, but some say a tad better than All Clad because of the design.

Actually, he uses both. There are many dishes where you need the temperature to fluctuate, i.e. scrambled eggs. Since the cast iron holds onto heat for so long, it wouldn’t be ideal for the recipe he uses where he takes it on and off the heat repeatedly. For most things though, cast iron > stainless steel

Poor Gordon, he really looks annoyed being there. LoL He needs to get Wolfgang Puck or Emeril to play that instead. He’s got an empire to run.

Rofl this is Ramsay at his best – slightly annoyed at the lady chatting on and on about the script while one of the best chefs in the world is demonstrating the cookware. She should have been asking him questions instead of reading from the script.

He’s making money hand-over-fist. Translated: he doesn’t care. But you’re right, though.

Most of these home shopping hostesses are quite annoying, I think. Those that aren’t are truly good at what they do.

And it’s Royal DOOOOOLTON – with the hand-painted periwinkles!!

its funny because right after jamie oliver got popular in the public eye and media, he came out with his own line of pans also, its all just business… there are so many good pots and pan manufacturers out there, the price on this set is a good buy though.

I will say though that for 400 bucks thats a good price for that set.

give me a cheap heavy duty cast iron set anyday that will last me 50 years, while these fancy bonded metal pans start to fall apart.. any chef who knows pans will agree with me, a cast iron pan still cooks the best steak. sure the pans are nice and top notch no doubt, but once you start spending that kind of money, there are all kinds of good brands.
