Roti, Chapati (Flat Indian Bread) Recipe by Manjula

    Thank you very much for sharing this wonderfull video recipe!! I want to make a proper Chapati for years but my Chapati always ended up very hard few minutes after i’ve done cooking it.

    Excellent! Your method is simpler than mine. I use a cast iron creuset, and a grill to make the roti puff up, but not always successfully. I prefer parathas, and I used the same method as for my roti.

    If they are thin, wont puff up. People normally prefer thin rotis anyways. But if u want, try making them a bit thicker and cook at a medium flame so u doesn’t over cook too fast becuz that can stop puffing to.
