actually pro chefs do use these products dont think that what you see in a resturant or cooking show on food network is what they have in their private collection. ive been a chef for 15 years and i love my lifetime cookware and its the real deal.

Who know’s what was sprayed into that pan for the egg test. I didn’t see the label, also since he pulled that pan from under the counter it may have already been coated with a nonstick substance that is toxic. Did he eat the egg? No way. This guy is just an experienced pitchman. In the 19th century he would have been selling patent medicines. Anybody ever notice that PROFESSIONAL CHEFS NEVER use this kind of “Miricle Cookware.

Seriously……? This is snake oil just like all the other frying pan salesmen. My grandmother has used the same cast iron frying pan for over 60 years. She’s now 87 years old and still going strong. That’s the best review you could give any product, been using it for 60 years and it hasn’t killed her!

Mercola is trying to sell his line of enameled cast iron pans so he’s saying regular cast iron pans are not good for men due to excess iron. The thing is that once a pan is seasoned, there is much less iron transfer due to the layer of carbon bonded to the pan). An unseasoned pan will transfer a lot of iron, but nobody on earth uses an unseasoned iron pan for food since everything will stick. A seasoned pan transfers a fraction of the iron…Mercola knows this but wants to sell his stuff.

But rims are versatile! Get a set of rims for the car. Then when at home, pop off the rims and use the inside for a nice Wok!

For me, cast iron is the best. The rancid fat nonsence doesnt apply unless one doesnt know what they are doing.

-a seasened pan is basically iron with a carbon coating…when the oil doesnt smoke anymore (ie 2-3 hours of seasoning at 400-500F), then its basically carbon. You can then use the pan like any other.

a $G for cookware, pricey. like you said, for a set of rims it would be a deal, but rims don’t last as long ;)
